As he looked through the forest with his dog, he couldn't find it. The legend said it never existed and if it did, no one could find it. As he walked through the forest some more, he had found an easy-flowing river. He splashed some fresh, cold water onto his dirty face. He also did this to his dog.
As he looked up, he saw a beautiful site. There were trees as high as the sky, and there, sitting perfectly still on a rock, was the harp. So it's true, he thought, it's really true. People had told him it's not real and he could never find it, but today he proved them wrong. The only problem was, it was on the other side of the river and halfway down. He did not know how to swim. So, he jumped into the water, feet first. But the water was shallow, only up to his ankles. He walked across easily. When he was near the harp, he fell down. The river had become deep, and he was kicking and splashing, trying to stay atop of the water, but it wasn't working. He was so close to the harp, he made a lunge for a rock. He had missed. He had tried again, and he was successful. He tried to pull himself up, but he had no energy. I came so far for this, he thought to himself.
He tried one last time, he had finally pulled himself up. He looked around, and found the harp right in front of him. He was grinning from ear to ear. He jumped to the rock, and grabbed the harp. Then, he took off. He was running as fast as he can. He jumped on a rock, and jumped into the shallow part of the water, and ran toward his dog.
When he finally came out of the water, he was soaking wet. His dog was barking up a storm
"Shut up!!" he yelled.
The dog was finally quiet, and they had went back into the forest, heading home.
